Celebrating 26 years of fall fun

In 2026, Armstrong’s Harvest Pumpkin Festival marks its 26th edition, continuing a long-standing tradition that brings residents and visitors together through creativity, culture, and community celebration.

Held from October 2 to 12, 2026, the festival transforms downtown Armstrong into a vibrant autumn gathering place.

Over ten days, the festival offers inclusive, family-friendly programming, including free workshops, live music, interactive activities, and a signature Family Day event, ensuring broad access for all ages and abilities.

October 4 \| 1:00 - 3:00 PM \| Block Printing Workshop (20 remaining)

October 5 \| 6:00 - 7:30 PM \| Sourdough Pancake & Waffle Workshop (28 remaining) Venue: Armstrong Odd Fellows Hall Jenn from Okanagan Cliffs Sourdoughs leads a fall sourdough pancake and waffle workshop with apple spice and pumpkin pie flavours.

October 6 \| 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM \| Blacksmithing Workshops Venue: Armstrong Odd Fellows Hall Parking Lot Try your hand at the traditional craft of blacksmithing with Michael Lobsiger of Ironandhammerforge! In this hands-on 30-minute experience, participants will step up to the anvil and learn some of the basics of working with metal under Michael's guidance. With two anvils set up, two participants will work simultaneously during each session, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to get involved and experience blacksmithing firsthand. October 6 \| 7:00 - 9:00 PM \| Watercolour Workshop (10 remaining) Venue: PV Blvd Coffee Create two fall-themed greeting cards and a bookmark in this hands-on watercolour workshop with Lisa. Lisa will lead a fall watercolour workshop at PV Blvd Coffee during Harvest Pumpkin Festival. Participants will create two greeting cards and a bookmark. Space is expected to be limited to 12 participants.

October 7 \| 4:30 - 6:00 PM \| Origami for Kids (15 remaining) Venue: Armstrong Odd Fellows Hall Nanae will lead a free fall origami workshop for children ages 5 to 10 at Armstrong Odd Fellows Hall during Harvest Pumpkin Festival. Children and their accompanying adults will make pumpkin and ghost origami together. Doors open at 4:00 PM. Instruction begins around 4:30 PM, and the class ends at 6:00 PM. Registration is limited to 15 child spots. Each child’s registration includes one participating adult.

Maia will lead a pickling and canning workshop at Armstrong Odd Fellows Hall as part of Harvest Pumpkin Festival. This first session is planned as an approximately two-hour workshop for up to 25 participants.
